COMSEL MIG is a solid wire with high silicon and manganese levels that give it excellent deoxidizing characteristics, especially valuable when welding rusty sheet or imperfect surfaces. Its arc is very fluid, which translates into a flatter, better-finished weld bead.
It runs on pure CO2 or argon blends with CO2 or oxygen, in constant voltage with positive polarity. Set up for short-circuit transfer it welds in all positions, making it as versatile in the shop as in the field. The deposit reaches 50 to 60.5 kg/mm² tensile strength with 22 to 30% elongation.
It is designed for joining thin sheet and is used in shaft repair, tank fabrication, auto bodies, agricultural implements, automotive rims, boats and structures. Available in 0.030", 0.035" and 0.045" diameters, on 1, 5 and 15 kg spools.
